Benfield School has been awarded a £20,000 grant thanks to Restore the Music, a charity dedicated to helping spread musical learning in schools in the UK. The grant will go toward new musical equipment and instruments for our pupils. Restore the Music are dedicated to giving every young person the opportunity to explore music and develop their confidence at the same time.
Restore the Music believe that through access to music, children can develop their confidence, imagination, and their own distinct pupil voice which in turn gives them crucial skills they need to succeed later on in life. At Benfield, we agree, and are delighted to be able to expand musical provision and opportunities for our pupils.
Restore the Music have reached over 90,000 pupils across 125 schools within the last 5 years and we’re thrilled to be part of it. We can’t wait to see the impact on all of our learners!
