Last week National Apprenticeship week across the UK and here at Benfield School, we welcomed a number of exciting employers to talk with our current Year 11 students about apprenticeship pathways and some of the great career opportunities that can come with them! The event was held in partnership with the Newcastle United Foundation.
We welcomed: Accenture, RAF, Hydrock, HMRC, Newcastle College, Northumberland College, and Newcastle Building Society and our pupils had the chance to talk to each in turn during our carousel style event to find out more about the benefits of doing an apprenticeship and the sorts of skills.
Our students left the event feeling inspired to take the next steps after finishing school. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved.
