An open evening shows you the school at its best. Benfield School open mornings show you what your child’s day would actually look like: lessons running, pupils moving between classes, staff at work. Open mornings run from 30 September through October in Walkergate, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Wednesdays 30 September, 7, 14 and 21 October, 9.15 am to 10.45 am.
I missed the open evening. Is it too late to look round?
No. Open mornings are the next chance to see Benfield before Year 7 applications close on 31 October.
How do I apply for a Year 7 place?
Through Newcastle City Council, by 31 October. Visiting Benfield isn’t the same as applying. We’re happy to talk you through the process when you visit.
